It falls in between the iPhone and laptops. It will challenge Amazon.com on the Kindle and the e-book market. I was expecting the iPad to be priced between $899 and $999. However, it is priced at $499-$830 depending on the model. And I think I might eventually get one.

Why? I am trying to read more books. Blogs and browsing would be awesome for the iPad. And finally it could be a really cool way to review photographs with potential brides. I could show off my photographs in a very elegant form factor. We shall see if that is a good idea or not.
