laEngagements sessions are as important as the wedding photography. That is right – I said it.
Engagement photos are important for several reasons – they give time for the photographer and the couple to work together before the day of the wedding. The couple learn how to pose and how to look in front of the camera.
Engagement sessions also let the bride and groom take photos in different locations and doing things that may not be possible at a wedding. Photography at a park, mountains… or… maybe mountain biking, hiking or cooking. Engagement sessions can be a chance to show off the fun activities that you as a couple do together.
The more creative the more memorable the photos. The photos often will find their way into the wedding album.
