I have never grabbed my credit card so fast!
I use KISS Wedding Books as my wedding album supply company and I have been buying some studio albums for dav.d wedding photography. The albums look gorgeous and they make my photographs look amazing-er. So, I was on Facebook and I noticed that they were giving away $30,000 in sample wedding albums to the first photographers to order an album – up to $400 per studio.
I am fortunate I had two album designs close to finalized – close enough that I could use the design for a studio sample. So I ordered a 37 spread album (that is 74 pages) in black leather and I ordered the largest 12 inches. I can’t wait to see it.

So I quickly grabbed my credit card and paid the difference in price and shipping. This was unheard of – or at least I have never seen a company pull this kind of marketing before. This week is WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International) tradeshow. Rather than pay $50,000 for a large booth KISS decided to give back to their photographers.
The offer expired quickly as many photographers took advantage of the $400 credit – many were able to get albums at no cost. Woo hoo!
And to be sure I will photograph and blog the photos of the album when it arrives – should I spoil the surprise and tell you whose wedding? Nah, I’ll keep that a secret – for now.
