The New Year is a time to celebrate

I am back at the day job today – and I think I am the only one here. I think everyone else is taking this week off from work. Do you know what that means? Clothing optional day at work! Woo hoo! And I am joking.

But I am looking forward to the New Year. I have already posted my New Year’s Resolutions. As I sit and review my goals it seems like there is a lot of work to do and a lot going on. And I am excited.

Each year I see my skill as a photographer improve and this year will be no different. But this year will also be a chance to see how I improve as an entrepreneur. That hasn’t come natural to me – like a lot of photographers I am more the creative type that the business type. But that is why I am keeping my business simple for me and simple for my customers.

So I will be toasting to the new year. And just for the fun of it here are two photographs from the past year. The first is champagne awaiting the wedding toast. The second photograph is for those who don’t drink alcohol – a classic Martinelle’s Sparkling Cider. 2010 is going to rock!
