Sun flares at Sundance Wedding

This still has to be one of my favorite wedding photographs of the year. This was up in Sundance, Utah – the sun had just crested over trees and through the door way – the timing and lighting couldn’t be better for the ceremony. The light captures the bride’s veil and I love the sun flare. It just makes a beautiful photograph.

And I will honk my own horn with this photograph – and this photograph is what it looked like coming out of the camera – no fancy edits no other changes. If I can get everything right in camera – then there is no need for “Photoshop trickery.” Of course it helps to photograph in Sundance with a gorgeous wedding party – and the bride was stunning.
