Groom, wearing flip flops, dips his bride during the first dance
Dear grooms,
Be sure you practice when you dip your bride during a dance or to impress the family. You definitely want to avoid surprising the bride – if she isn’t ready she may be stiff as a board and we don’t want to drop anyone. And in the above photograph the groom is wearing flip flops – the jury is still out whether footwear affects the dipping dance maneuver. I was standing right there and had only a split second to react – and I got the photograph.
This was a fun wedding to boot. The wedding was in Pinedale Wyoming – and there was a lot of dancing. I may have to try and photograph Wyoming weddings more often. It it can be a lot of fun to travel to surrounding states for weddings. If you are in Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, or anywhere in the western states let me know – would love to come and photograph your wedding. Especially if the groom or bride is wearing flip flops.
