The blog post is going to be off topic – this is a wedding photography website but I can’t blog about weddings everyday. Sometimes we need a break and see something off the wall and totally cute. So here is Hogle Zoo’s newest resident – a new baby elephant. Here mother was pregnant for 20+ months – I can’t imagine what that would be like.

The baby elephant weighs in at 251 lbs yesterday when I took this photo. And the baby looks tiny! So take your families to the zoo and check her out. They are voting on a name for the new baby elephant – and voting ends soon.
Even in the animal kingdom you realize that family is important.
