In Utah, and perhaps other locations, discussion of liquor and alcohols will angry up the blood. I probably shouldn’t even blog about alcohol and weddings. To be honest I could care less whether or not there is, or isn’t, alcohol at a wedding.

For me as a photographer I don’t drink while on the job. There have been so many opportunities to have a glass of champagne or wine while photographing the celebrations and I politely refuse. My reason? Alcohol means blurry photography.

And it is my job to take gorgeous pictures and document the party celebrating the bride and groom. So don’t worry about me – I wind down after I have backed up the photographs onto my computer and hard drives.

So I toast you and your love with a glass of water and camera in hand.
