Cheating with Wedding Photography

Sometimes you just have to cheat. If life went perfectly then you wouldn’t have to worry about it. This photo was taken a few weeks after the wedding. The bride and I were in different states (Utah and California) before the wedding – the wedding itself was in California and there wasn’t time to take bridal portraits.

What to do? Well, a few weeks later Angelina was visiting family in Utah and I suggested she bring her wedding dress down and we could take some “post wedding bridals.” Is that cheating? Yes. But it works because now she has some cool photos of her and her beautiful dress.

Why stop with bridals? Too often a wedding day is so busy we don’t have a lot of time for the artistic photos of a wedding. So rent the tuxedo an extra day maybe and the bride, groom and I can photograph in different locations after your wedding, after the honeymoon, and after all the stress.
